‍Effective Date: January 30th 2026
Last Updated: January 30th 2026

1. About BRIDGE (Barbados Resource Information Digital Graph Ecosystem)

1.1 What BRIDGE Is

BRIDGE, short for Barbados Resource Information Digital Graph Ecosystem (“BRIDGE”), is an AI-powered information system that enables users to query Barbados-specific information using natural language. BRIDGE allows you to retrieve and generate answers from curated datasets provided by the Government of Barbados and approved sources.

BRIDGE is designed to provide more accurate and explainable results than a standalone AI chatbot by reducing common issues such as hallucinations and lack of transparency.

1.2 Who Provides BRIDGE

BRIDGE is a government system provided and administered by Ministry of Industry, Innovation, Science & Technology (“MIST” or “Government”).

The BRIDGE technology platform is provided under contract by Amini Corp (“Amini”) as a technology service provider.

1.3 Relationship

When you use BRIDGE:

  • You are using an internal government information system.
  • Your relationship is with the Government, not Amini.
  • The Government is responsible for the system’s governance, access controls, and handling of information.
  • Amini provides and supports the technology platform under Government instructions.

2. Purpose and Scope

2.1 Purpose

BRIDGE supports authorized government officials by enabling:

  • discovery of relevant information across approved datasets,
  • faster retrieval of documents and evidence, and
  • improved decision support through explainable outputs and citations where available.

2.2 Scope of Use

BRIDGE is intended for:

  • authorized Government officials and staff, and
  • other authorized users approved by the Government.

BRIDGE is not intended for public use unless explicitly designated as such by the Government.

3. Eligibility and Access

3.1 Authorized Users Only

You may use BRIDGE only if you:

  • are an authorized user acting within your official role,
  • access BRIDGE using approved credentials and devices, and
  • agree to comply with these Terms and all applicable Government policies.

3.2 Accounts and Credentials

You are responsible for:

  • maintaining confidentiality of your login credentials,
  • not sharing accounts, passwords, or access tokens, and
  • notifying MIST immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use BRIDGE:

  • only for lawful and authorized government purposes,
  • in accordance with internal policies (including information security policies),
  • in a professional, respectful, and responsible manner, and
  • with appropriate care when handling sensitive or confidential information.

5. Prohibited Use

You must not use BRIDGE to:

  • access information outside your authorization level,
  • attempt to bypass access controls or security protections,
  • upload, introduce, or distribute malware or malicious code,
  • disrupt, overload, or interfere with system operation,
  • use BRIDGE for personal, political campaign, or unrelated commercial purposes,
  • input highly sensitive information unless required and authorized (see Privacy Notice), or
  • use BRIDGE outputs as the sole basis for legally binding decisions without required review.

6. Nature of Outputs and Human Responsibility

6.1 AI System Limitations

BRIDGE uses AI methods that may produce outputs that are:

  • incomplete,
  • outdated,
  • misinterpreted, or
  • incorrect.

While BRIDGE is designed to reduce hallucinations and improve traceability, BRIDGE does not guarantee accuracy.

6.2 Verification Requirement

You must verify critical information using:

  • original documents,
  • official systems of record, and
  • established government workflows.

6.3 No Automatic Decision-Making

BRIDGE is intended as a decision-support tool. It does not make binding decisions, and its outputs do not create legal rights, obligations, or entitlements.

7. Data Sources and Content Governance

7.1 Approved Sources

BRIDGE may retrieve and summarize information from:

  • Government-provided datasets,
  • internal documents and records approved for inclusion,
  • selected websites approved by the Government, and
  • the latest Barbados-related news sources approved for monitoring.

7.2 Source Transparency

Where available, BRIDGE may provide citations or references to supporting sources. In some cases, citations may not be available due to technical limitations or source restrictions.

7.3 Dataset Updates

Datasets may be updated, corrected, expanded, or removed at any time.

8. Data Handling and Security

BRIDGE is deployed on secure, on-premises infrastructure controlled by the Government or its designated operator. Security measures may include:

  • access control and authentication,
  • encryption in transit and at rest (where applicable),
  • audit logging, and
  • monitoring for misuse.

Details are provided in the Privacy Notice.

9. Amini’s Limited Role

Amini:

  • provides and maintains the technology platform,
  • processes information only to operate BRIDGE under Government instructions,
  • does not use Government information for independent purposes, and
  • has no direct relationship with BRIDGE users.

10. Intellectual Property

10.1 Government Content

All Government datasets, documents, and content remain the property of the Government or the relevant authority.

10.2 BRIDGE Platform

The BRIDGE software, design, and underlying technology are owned by Amini and/or its licensors. You receive no ownership rights to the platform.

10.3 User Inputs

You retain any rights you may have in the content you input into BRIDGE. By using BRIDGE, you grant the permission to use your inputs and system usage data for:

  • operating BRIDGE,
  • improving system performance and reliability,
  • auditing and compliance, and
  • security monitoring.

11. Confidentiality

You must treat information accessed through BRIDGE as confidential where required by policy, classification, or law, including:

  • internal records,
  • restricted documents, and
  • non-public datasets.

12. Availability

BRIDGE is provided “as is” and “as available.” Availability may be affected by:

  • maintenance,
  • system upgrades,
  • network outages, or
  • security incidents.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue BRIDGE at any time.

13 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • BRIDGE is provided as a decision-support tool only.
  • MIST and Amini are not liable for decisions made based on BRIDGE outputs.
  • Neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data, service interruptions, or third-party actions.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

15. Termination and Enforcement

The Government may suspend or terminate access if you:

  • violate these Terms,
  • misuse the system, or
  • create security or compliance risks.

16. Contact

For access, support, governance, or privacy questions:

  • Email: info@amini.ai

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Barbados.
